Humboldt Park is Chicago’s hottest neighborhood of 2026, followed by Huntley and Belmont Cragin.

This is according to a Redfin analysis ranking U.S. zip codes of neighborhoods in Chicago’s metro area by year-over-year growth in listing views on Redfin.com and Redfin Compete Score—a measure of how difficult it is to win a home. These neighborhoods tend to appeal to buyers who want to stay close to established communities and popular places without paying top dollar, Daniel Close, a Redfin Principal agent in Chicago, said.
