Luxury home-sale prices in Miami rose 18% year over year in July, the biggest increase of the 50 most populous U.S. metros. It’s followed by another Florida metro, Tampa, where prices increased 15.4%. Luxury prices are growing at least three times faster in those Sunshine State metros as they are in the U.S. as a whole, which posted a 5.3% uptick in July.

This report is based on a Redfin analysis of MLS data that is subject to revision. All figures cover rolling three-month periods; this report covers May-July, 2026. Redfin defines luxury homes as those estimated to be in the top 5% of their metro area’s price range, while non-luxury homes fall into the 35th–65th percentile.
